BEYOND THE FRAME is an extension of the way I approach food photography — with curiosity, intention and a focus on seeing before creating. Over two days, I’ll share the process behind my work, from understanding light and building a frame to making intentional creative decisions and developing your own visual eye.
This is a hands-on experience, with time to shoot, experiment and receive direct feedback throughout.

Guest Food Stylist & Chef From the plate to the frame.
A food stylist and chef will join us for a live styling session, taking a dish from plating to the final photograph. You’ll see how food is considered for the camera; from composition and detail to the small adjustments that can completely change an image.
Then, you’ll put what you’ve learned into practice and photograph the finished dish yourself.
FAQ
BEYOND THE FRAME is for photographers who already understand the fundamentals of photography and want to develop a more intentional approach to food photography; learning to see beyond the obvious and make stronger creative decisions.
You don’t need to be working professionally, but you should be comfortable operating your camera manually and understand the basic principles of photography.
Bring the camera and lens you are most comfortable shooting with. A tripod is optional. A recommended equipment list will be shared with confirmed participants before the workshop.
BEYOND THE FRAME is not a beginner camera course. We won’t be focusing on basic camera operation. The workshop is about seeing, creating and making intentional decisions with the camera you already know how to use.
Yes. BEYOND THE FRAME is hands on. You’ll have dedicated time to photograph the food we create and style during the workshop, putting the LSI Method into practice.
Yes. You’ll receive direct guidance and individual feedback from Yèyé throughout the shooting sessions, helping you understand what is working and where you can push your image further.
Your registration includes both workshop days, guided shooting sessions, the live food styling experience, direct feedback, workshop materials.
BEYOND THE FRAME is intentionally limited to 8–10 participants to keep the experience intimate and allow for meaningful individual guidance.
Your seat reservation is non-refundable. Our full cancellation and transfer terms are provided during registration and must be agreed to before your place is confirmed.
Complete the registration form and follow the payment instructions provided. A ₦50,000 seat reservation secures your place and is credited toward the total workshop fee of ₦300,000. Places are confirmed once the required payment has been received.
